Mattel Chatty Cathy. This is the first issue of Chatty Cathy. She came dressed in this red and white voile sundress with a red sunsuit underneath. This outfit came only on the first issue doll and was never sold separately. While most Chatty Cathy are marked this first issue doll bears no markings. Has her pull string but she does not talk. Has a cloth covered voice box. Original shoes and replaced stockings. She is in very nice condition. She is 20 inches tall.
